  • A Message From Our Principal

    Maxine Cameron

    January 2018

    Dear Roberto Clemente Families,

Happy New Year Roberto Clemente Family! I hope you had a restful and enjoyable recess with your children and close friends.

As we begin the second half of School Year 2017-2018, our goal is that the home-school connection will be heightened. There are several measures already in place to make outreaches – School Messenger, Skedula, Class DoJo, flyers, letters, and text messages. If you do not have access to any of the resources, please call the school or come in to glean more information from our Parent Coordinator, Amanda Adorno. Also, join us in the different parent activities (parent workshops, English classes for parents, Breakfast with the Principal and our monthly family events).

Before closing, I must mention the importance of attendance.  Statistics support the fact that children who attend school regularly usually excel in school. Therefore, it is imperative that you send your children to school daily, unless they are sick. Moreover, it is crucial that you send them on time, so they do not miss the instruction in literacy and mathematics at the beginning of the school day. All youngsters deserve a quality education, so l implore you to send your child to school on time, daily.

We desire that all of our children improve in their studies, so let’s continue to work together so they succeed.

Again, have a safe and healthy new year.

    Respectfully Yours,

    Maxine Cameron
